All-Incusive Colorado Ranch Vacation
Lost Valley Ranch is an all-inclusive AAA Four Diamond Resort located in the front range of Colorado. Our dude ranch rates cover your lodging, all meals at the ranch, guided horseback riding, use of our facilities, special evening programming, and access to 26,000 acres of Pike National Forest. The only additional costs you may encounter are optional activities and purchases, including fly fishing clinics and excursions, trap shooting, archery, buying items from our Trading Post, or transportation assistance. The following rates do not include Colorado state sales tax (4.5%). All rates are subject to change until the 60% confirmation deposit is paid.

Reservations
Advance reservations are required. Reservations may be made by phone (303-647-2311) or email: info@lostvalleyranch.com, or you can check the availability of your preferred dates. We will hold your accommodations without deposit for approximately two weeks. The management of Lost Valley Ranch reserves the right to refuse, change, or cancel reservations at any time.
During Labor Day, Specialty Weeks, and Thanksgiving, every guest has the priority to re-book for the same week for the following year. When re-booking multiple bedroom cabins during Labo Day or Thanksgiving, we do require a minimum number of guests to re-book in the same cabin for the following year.
- Two bedroom cabins: four adults or five people.
- Three bedroom cabins: five adults or six people.
If your party is smaller than our minimum occupancy, we will move your reservation to a smaller cabin should one come available. Should you wish to re-book in the same cabin but fall short of this, we will add a minimum 15% upcharge. Lost Valley reserves the right to move cabin reservations at any time if your party does not meet our minimum requirements.
Deposit
We require a 60% deposit to confirm your reservation. We accept cash, personal checks, travelers checks, and all major credit cards. The actual amount of your deposit and its due date will be stipulated when making your tentative booking.
Cancellations
Your deposit will be refunded if notice reaches us 60 DAYS before your scheduled arrival date. Within the 60 day period, your deposit (less a service charge: $600 for Summer, $300 for Spring/Fall) will be refunded if another reservation with the same number of people can be filled. For group, cancellation must reach us 150 days before your arrival date; otherwise, your entire deposit is forfeited. For your protection, we highly recommend trip or vacation insurance for those "last-minute" medical, business or emergency cancellations. Call Travel Guard at 800-826-130. The sales representative will happily answer your questions or send you information about the plans they offer.
Payment
At the end of your stay, full payment is to be made by cash, traveler's checks, personal check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. Any additional charges such as Trading Post, trap shooting, archery and/or transportation are added to your final bill.
Gratuity
Because your rate is all-inclusive, no tip or gratuity is required or expected. Meeting your expectations does not qualify us for any tips. If, however, our service exceeds your expectations, you may leave something for the staff gratuity fund. We strongly believe this effort is a team effort by our staff; therefore, all tips will be divided evenly among all the staff.
Transportation
We are located approximately 2 hours from both the Denver and Colorado Springs Airport and there is no public transportation to Lost Valley Ranch. You will need to secure a rental car or we will pick you up in Denver or Colorado Springs for a one-way trip charge of $170 per person or a round-trip charge of $275 per person ($275 minimum/$1,500 maximum per family in one vehicle). Rates for groups and multi-cabin families will be quoted on a case-by-case basis. Due to rising gas prices these rates are subject to change. Please call our main office to ask about our current transportation rates. We need to receive your transportation request at least 14 days before you arrive.
During the majority of our fall season the check-in time is at 4:00 PM and the check-out time is at 2:00 PM. Our shuttles will pick you up at 2:00 PM on your arrival day and will take you back to the airport at 2:00 PM or earlier on your departure day. We will plan to leave the ranch at least 4 hours ahead of your departing flight time at the end of your stay.
As we prepare for your arrival, our shuttle times can be flexible to pick you up later than 2:00 PM on your arrival day or depart Lost Valley earlier than 2:00 PM on your departure day. However, for the safety of our guests and staff, we do not offer transportation that requires our drivers to leave the ranch after 7:30 PM or before 4:30 AM.
We do often find that guests enjoy having their own vehicle while on property and each cabin has a parking spot out front. You are more than welcome to rent a vehicle and use this as a method of transportation to get around the ranch as some of our cabins are located at higher elevations than others.
